I currently offer consulting services in a number of areas, all related to software and computing.

Architecture and design are fundamental for any software development project, and require a high level of expertise and experience for being sucessful. A weak or flawed design may lead to large rewrites in later releases, and possibly also to performance or scalability problems that can be hard to solve. I perform design reviews, offer mentoring, and participate in collaborative efforts as efficient means to avoid these problems.
Software processes hold the promise of improved adherence to delivery plans and reduced risks for software projects. Although praised by most parties, they sometimes end up hurting projects or being neglected altogether, due to incorrect usage or implementation. I offer services related to process and project management, and have several years of experience in implementing and using methods in development projects.
